Kraus & Naimer "Ship-Shore" Power Transfer Switches

AAP, Inc., offers a popular series of Kraus & Naimer "ship-shore" power transfer switches specfically for boats, trucks, RVs and specialty trailers. With current ratings up to 315 Amps, these internationally recognized switches provide a convenient method of selecting multiple power sources.

The entire switch body, with the exception of the current-carrying components, is made of noncorrosive material which makes these switches ideal for the specialty mobile industry. This solid safety feature eliminates the possibility of electrical shock to the operator should any hot wire come in contact with the switch body. Once shore power has been plugged into the electrical system, a simple manual selection with this switch provides a convenient method for obtaining electrical power from the generator or shore. Other positions can be provided when multisources of either ship and/or shore power are available.
